Understanding the GBCI Credential Maintenance Program

Understanding the GBCI Credential Maintenance Program can be challenging, but we are here to help you every step of the way. If you have chosen to complete the Prescriptive CMP Requirements, you'll need to complete the following steps:

1. Enroll in Prescriptive Credential Maintenance by going to My Credentials in GBCI's website.

2. Begin earning continuing education hours. Total hours you'll need in each category vary depending on your specialty. Hours may be earned by following these guidelines.

3. Report your earned hours on GBCI's website. To see a step by step tutorial, please click here.

What You Need To Fulfill Your Requirements

LEED Green Associates are required by GBCI to complete and report 15 Continuing Education (CE) hours each reporting period; 3 of these hours must be LEED-specific.

LEED AP with specialty credential holders are required by GBCI to complete and report 30 Continuing Education (CE) hours each reporting period; 6 of these hours must be LEED-specific.

How We Can Help Fulfill Those Requirements

USGBC Louisiana is committed to providing you with continuing education opportunities through a wide variety of events, workshops, webinars and more. Most of these events are GBCI approved to provide continuing education credits. Please check out our calendar of events for opportunities to earn continuing education credits.
