Energy-Efficiency Tour of Dinwiddie Hall

Join us and Energy Smart for a tour of Dinwiddie Hall, where a 2010 renovation took place after a computer model was constructed to predict the building's future energy use and to test alternatives that would reduce the building's energy use.  The tour will cover energy savings achieved by selecting efficient HVAC equipment such as a chilled water pump and air handler fans, as well as lighting sensors for daylight and occupancy.

Tour will be led by Amber Beezley with Tulane and will cover the LEED elements of the building as well as an overview of incentives from the local Energy Smart program presented by Kevin Fitzwilliam.

Contractors are encouraged to attend as there will be a wealth of great information and ability to ask questions.
