In preparing our firm for coming back to the office amidst the current pandemic, we turned to our experience in project management, tapped into industry resources and leaned heavily on the fundamentals of design thinking to navigate the unknown. Focusing on our physical spaces, social interactions, personal care and wellbeing, we created what we believe is a holistic approach in mitigating disruption and fostering change agency.

However, if the past few months have taught us anything, our firm does not stand alone. Improving the health and vitality of our community takes a collective effort. So, we embarked on a mission to connect with those leading the charge in resiliency across our region. We conducted surveys, interviewed over a hundred clients, and have hosted a series of industry panel discussions.

The conclusion? Accountability, flexibility, integration of technology and adaptation are themes that will shape our landscape like never before. Creating safe and agile environments for our clients and community has rapidly transitioned from trend to survival. In this session we will share insights from this research and three fundamental outcomes for constructing spaces that are resilient by design.
