Get Involved!

Join a committee

Programing

Our Programing Committee is responsible for organizing webinars, tours, lunch-and-learns, volunteer event, and happy hours. They support local program teams by making community connections, marketing events through chapter communication avenues, and promoting events through personal networks.

Green Schools

This is a great way to get involved with local schools and see how Louisiana's youth takes strides towards more socially and environmentally responsible communities.  The committee does this by developing the Green Schools Challenge program, engaging schools to participate, and coordingate schools and programming. 

Equity

This is a new committee which examines equity in green building and explores opportunities to include it in our programming and initiantives to engage the community.

FORWARD

The FORWARD committee organizes our annual FORWARD Symposium by finding speakers, gathering content, and coordiantating the event.

Partnerships

The Partnership Committee makes connections with other related organizations to coordinate events, judge sustainability awards, and maintain organizational relationships. 

Fundraising

The Fundraising Committee is responsible for coming up with new ideas to raise funds to support the chapater.  

Communications

The communications committee creates all of the marketing material for social media, the website, newsletter, and press.
